For backpackers who are visiting the city for the first time, staying in a Bangkok hostel near the BTS will save you money and time. The BTS Skytrain is the most popular rapid transit rail system in Bangkok. The two lines of the system serve the Sathorn and Silom districts down towards the Chao Phraya River. It also serves the Sukhumvit area of the city, with a line that runs most of the length of Sukhumvit Road within the central business area of Bangkok.

The Chao Hostel sits near the transfer point for the two lines of the BTS Skytrain, putting this Bangkok hostel near the BTS in the perfect position to afford our guest’s incredibly easy and quick access to all the landmarks and attractions that Bangkok offers.

Interconnected Transit Systems of Bangkok

The BTS Skytrain also provides the convenience of being interconnected with the two other main rail transit systems in Bangkok, the MRT, and the Airport Express. The Airport Express should be of particular interest to backpackers flying into Suvarnabhumi Airport.

By taking advantage of the Airport Express transit system, travellers can avoid an expensive taxi ride into town and back out to the airport. When you arrive in Bangkok, take the Airport Express train into the Phaya Thai station at the end of the line. Transfer to the BTS Skytrain system and ride the train two stops away to the Siam Station.

Our hostel is near the BTS Siam Station. The MRT also offers the opportunity of allowing you to explore more than just the most popular areas of the city. Although this is the system that takes you to the world-famous Chatuchak Weekend Market it also serves some of the lesser-known, but still beautiful and interesting areas of the city.

Explore Bangkok in Air-conditioned Comfort

Take the MRT to explore the vibrant and colourful China Town area of Bangkok, the oldest city park in Bangkok, Lumpini Park, or the Ratchada area with the equally famous Bangkok Railway Market.

The location of our hostel near the BTS makes it quick, easy and convenient to explore the different neighbourhoods of the city, each with their own unique charms and vibrancy. Tour the cafes and eateries of the Aree area, the latest area to be discovered as a food and coffee hotspot.

Explore the exciting nightspots and eclectic restaurants offered in the Thonglor and nearby Ekkamai neighbourhoods. You can even transfer to a water taxi from the Saphan Taksin station of the BTS and enjoy seeing a view of Bangkok from the river.

Our Hostel near the BTS Skytrain is the perfect place to plan all of your adventures in Bangkok. Choosing our hostel for your accommodations will save you lots of time and money and make it easy to see all the sights of magnificent Bangkok.
